Hot: Maggie Q and Michael Keaton The Protégé Love. Spoilers here unfortunately. You have been warned.
Firstly, Who knew that Anna played by Maggie Q and Rembrandt played by Michael Keaton will make some ho$ love in The Protégé. There were a few hints but not enough to say wow they definitely going to get together.
Note, that these two characters clearly had some kind of weird awkward spark when they met at Anna’s book store which, later on got showered with bullets by Rembrandts boss hit men.
When Rembrandt met Anna, they seem to be talking about a famous book that had a very popular quotation which he resided and Anna seemed to cheekily like him for him.
Although, we weren’t sure if Martin Campbell the director intended for this scene to translate the way it did.
You can tell she didn’t want to follow this path necessary but found herself at his presence somehow.
She later find out he is involved in the termination of her mentor and friend Moody played by Samuel L Jackson as well as her been kidnapped.
After a hot date with Rembrandt that ended abruptly with Anna stating that quote “this is the only presence he will ever see her in”.
Clearly she underestimated herself as again she was at his presence. They were both fighting each other and only for Rembrandt to say “not sure if you want to keep fighting me or f**k me and of course they ended up f**k*in*g.
Its almost like a love and hate relationship that built up so quickly, which was all based upon sadnes, revenge and tension. We think.
After the ho$ love happened, it seemed they were back to their original plan in ending each other by their driven quests.
