Movie trailers has been around for decades. The first trailer shown in an American film theater was in November 1913. Before 1913 movie trailers did somewhat exist but by theaters only, advertising on leaflets and newspapers. In the 1900, there were no such thing as movie trailers but rather just movies.

These scenes are usually drawn from the most exciting, funny, or otherwise noteworthy parts of the film but in abbreviated form and usually without producing spoilers. For this purpose the scenes are not necessarily in the order in which they appear in the film.
